Not all are necessarily essential and we each have our preferences, here are the tools we use every day to assemble / disassemble / repair e-Nable devices.
A screwdriver. Suitable for the screws you are going to use.
A hammer. Because.
A pair of sharp scissors. Can optionally replace the punch.
A punch. Very practical for tying elastic bands and tendons. Can be replaced by sharp scissors.
An old soldering or pyrography iron. Useful for recasting and smoothing printed plastic, on the arch of printed palms without support for example.
A metal file. For finishing joints in particular.
A heat gun. For fine thermoforming. Can be replaced by a hair dryer.
A glue gun. Perfect for sticking the scratch on itself, the foam on the PLA, and why not give grip to the fingertips.
A deburrer. Much more effective than a file or a cutter at removing the 'elephant's foot' from all parts and breaking the angles of the tensioner pins.
